The TRAIL ULTRA is the evolution of the tracking long line, specifically engineered for the professional handler working high-drive dogs in the most demanding environments. This lead takes the legendary Niggeloh lightweight design and adds critical tactical features for hand safety, low-light visibility, and “blind” line management.

The “Anti-Burn” Innovation

Handling a powerful dog on a 39-foot line can be hazardous to your hands. The TRAIL ULTRA features a new edge-reinforced webbing technique. This specialized construction is designed to protect the handler from painful abrasive “friction burns” that often occur when a dog suddenly lunges or surges on a standard synthetic lead.

Tactical Visibility & Awareness

• Reflective Safety: The lead is finished in a high-visibility Blaze Yellow-Red pattern with integrated woven reflective stripes. This ensures maximum visibility to other hunters and vehicles during dusk tracking, dawn recoveries, or roadside work.
• The Leather “Stop”: A strategically placed leather stop alerts you by touch when you have 1 meter (approx. 3 feet) of lead remaining. This tactile early warning allows you to manage the end of the line without having to look down, keeping your eyes on the dog and the terrain.
